Episodes that never were

I've been reading a little bit about the episodes that were in production or were planned for production during the time that Invader Zim was canceled. They were coming up with pretty good stuff and I strongly believe that if the show had not been canceled, it would've only gotten better.

Here's a description of one of the episodes that was never finished called "Simon Sez Doom:"

Mr. Elliot, Gaz's teacher, is running an orphanage care program. Zim joins it so as to take advantage of the game "Simon says" by telling the orphans to destroy the Earth. Dib joins the program to figure out what Zim's doing. He manages to save the city from the orphans, end the game of "Simon says" and almost blows up the orphanage by leaving the diaper-changing machine unattended.

Unfortunately, Invader Zim as we all know it is forever lost. When asked if they would come back if the show ever came on air again, about half of the cast said no. Invader Zim would never be the same again, even if they did bring it back. So sad.

Invision Power Board

This post is gonna be all about how much I LOVE Invision Power Board (IPB for short). So easy to install and set up yet extremely powerful. This is about the 10th time I install one of these and configure it.Wonder why that is... lol.

Takes forever to to successfully get it exactly how you want it in terms of functionality and looks. This time I think I'm gonna skip all the custom CSS and just install a trendy skin.

Anyway, for those of you who have actually been paying attention you must be wondering: "how the hell is this relevant to Invader Zim or the site?" It's very relevant, this is the software I will be using for the forums on the site. I'm not exactly sure when I'm going to open, still. Site traffic is very low and I haven't gotten around to promoting the site yet.

Stay tuned, the full launch of the forums will be coming... eventually. Remember this is usually where the most exciting stuff on the site goes on. Two years ago we had the Christmas contest and we gave away 10 Invader Zim action figures. Those were the days.

Is Dib's head really all that big?

I mean, sure, it is a pretty big head compared to his little body, but look at Gaz's head and body... same exact thing! I've never heard anyone ever mentioning Gaz's equally large head. Why is it always just Dib?

Has anybody else wondered that? Or is it just me?

5 years

Wow I can't believe it's been 5 years since my buddies and I came up with the idea for the site during computer class. What first started out as an assignment turned out into a great website.

Unfortunately we've since lost all our members, thanks to the site going offline like 6 times so far. It's a lot of work for high school and college students who are focused on their education.

Throughout the years we've had different members on staff helping us out either with the programming, artwork or forum moderation. I'm thankful to all those volunteers who helped out.

I'm gonna try to keep the site online for as much as possible, now all I have to do is work on getting our members back.
